Police on Thursday rendered helping hand to 52 stranded tourists at Parihaas Doodhpathri area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district who got stuck due to sudden snowfall.
A Spokesperson said that Police station Khansahib received an information that some tourists were stuck at Parihaaas Doodhpathri while travelling in their vehicles due to sudden snowfall , accordingly police party of Police Station Khansahib and police personnel on guard duty at Tangnar Doodhpathri were deputed and all 52 Tourists were provided with necessary assistance & help and were shifted to safe ccommodations at Tangnar where from they could travel safely in their vehicles.
Similarly help was provided to the needy in other locations of the District like Yousmarg, khag etc .
Meanwhile, the tourists expressed their gratitude towards Budgam police for timely help.
