Srinagar, Nov 11: Apni Party (AP) President Syed Mohammad AltafBukhari Friday took a visit to the Channapora constituency to gauge the people’s mood and ascertain the local public issues.
He was accompanied by vice-president District Srinagar Aijaz Ahmad Rather, Party in-charge for Channapora constituency Mohammad Ashraf Dar, and corporator SMC Aijaz Ahmad Bhat.
According to a press release issued here, Syed Mohammad AltafBukhari met the people and party workers, who apprised him of the public issues and the party matters.
Bukhari assured the people that he would bring public issues and grievances to the administration’s notice and ensure a quick redressal.
He urged party leaders and workers of the Channapora constituency to boost their public outreach and political activities in the area so that they will remain well-connected and make a bond with the masses at the grassroots level.
He said, “Apni Party’s key agenda is to work for the public good and serve the people. Each and every member of the party is supposed to be always available to serve the people, thus, you must be well connected with the masses at the grassroots level so that they are well aware of the public issues.”
He added, “Ours is a party of masses. People have faith in our agenda and policies. They expect us to help them get public issues and grievances resolved.”
The Party President gave a patient hearing to the workers who were discussing certain party matters with him and shared some suggestions for the smooth functioning of the party in the constituency.
On this occasion, AltafBukhari urged the workers to ensure massive public participation in the scheduled rally at the SK Stadium in Srinagar on November 12.
