Jammu, Oct 20: Terming prolonged delay in redressal of grievances of employees as unfortunate on the part of Government, AamAadmi Party’s spokesperson and Co-chairman of State Organisation Building Committe, OP Khajuria, Thursday said that this delay narrates sad state of affairs and LG administration should form a high power committee to look into the matter and a recently framed committee of BharatiyaJanata Party (BJP) is of no fun and is only a move to befool the employees.
In a press statement, AAPspokesperson and co-chairman of State Organisation Building Incharge, OP Khajuria said that Government employees are backbone of system and their welfare and professional growth is prerequisite for fine tuning of public services delivery system but in Jammu and Kashmir Government is following a different policy in which the Government employees are being harassed and cornered and your left with no other option then to hit the roads.
Khajuria said, “Special package employees as well as KP employees working in Kashmir valley are on protest since long and are sitting on dharna demanding safety and security of their lives but government is following a completely dictatorial policy with them and employees are being harassed and cornered.”
He said that prolong protest and delay in Government’s concern towards the employees issues shows sad state of affairs and is unfortunate on the part of government.
“AAP has always called for redressal of genuine grievances of these employees but government is busy looking other way and is not paying concern towards these employees,” theAAP spokesperson OP Khajuria said.
Reacting towards framing of a special committee by BharatiyaJanta Party, OP Khajuria said that BJP is only a political party and committee constituted by it has no realistic grounds and it is just a move to befool the employees.
He said that LG administration should now immediately constitute a high power committee to minutely examine the grievances and demands of employees who are on protest and to redress their grievances.
