Kathua, April 27: In a swift and compassionate response to a tragic fire incident at Ward No. 21, Kathua, the District Administration, under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Kathua Dr. Rakesh Minhas extended immediate relief to the affected families. The devastating fire led to the complete destruction of twelve jhughis (makeshift dwellings), leaving families homeless and in urgent need of assistance.
Recognising the critical situation, the district administration promptly organised and distributed essential supplies to each of the twelve affected families. The team of district administration Kathua extended solidarity with the affected families and assured them of continuous support from the administration. “The loss faced by the families is heartbreaking. We stand with them in this hour of need and will ensure that all necessary support is extended to them,” officials said.
