Srinagar, May 05: Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has selected 199 students for complimentary coaching in both online and offline modes at private tuitions centres across the Jammu division for the academic session 2024-25.
Ashok Kumar Sharma, the Director of School Education Jammu, told the Rising that 199 students have been chosen under the 10% reserved quota for the session 2024-25 as per the J&K Regulation of Private Tuition Coaching Centres Rules 2010, across the Jammu division.
“Students falling under the categories of Destitute, Orphan, and Below Poverty Lines (BPL) will be provided with free coaching to prepare for their academic and competitive examinations (UGC) Like NEET, JEE MAINS, CUET, JEE, Commerce, Medical and arts at Private Tuitions Centres for the session 2024-25 in the Jammu division.” Sharma said
He said that in March 2024, students have asked to submit their applications along with qualification certificates from the previous academic year to avail of free coaching at private tuition centers for the 2024-25 session.
“The private coaching centers offering complimentary coaching for various academic or competitive exams (UGC) are mandated to reserve 10% of the total intake capacity in each class for candidates who are destitute, orphan, Below Poverty Line (BPL), Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY), Priority Household (PHH) at Secondary, Higher Secondary, or other undergraduate competitive courses (UGC),” Director said.
