An advance security liaison meeting was held here today in view of the upcoming visit of the Home Minister to Rajouri district. The meeting was chaired by SSP Security Jammu, S S Kotwal.
Threadbare discussion was held on a number of points, including deployment of security personnel, barricading arrangements at the venue etc.
ASP, Vivek Shekhar briefed in detail the arrangements being put in place in connection with the VVIP visit. A detailed discussion was held on the contingency plan, traffic management plan and manning of entrance and exit routes.
It was decided in the meeting that only mobile phones shall be allowed inside the venue. It was decided that the size of the flag whether of the tricolour or of any party if carried by the public to the venue should not be more than one feet. Similarly, all other arrangements were also finalized in the meeting.
The SSP Security asked the concerned officers to work in a coordinated manner and ensure that all security arrangements are made well in advance.
He also asked the officers to strive hard and work in tandem so that the event can be conducted successfully.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commander Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, Commandant Sandeep Kumar chubey, ASL Officer, SR Meena, Commandant 72 BN CRPF and other senior officers from Police and Civil administration.
