A massive fire engulfed a residential house in Sailkhayan Danew Kandimarg (D K Marg) in Kulgam district on Thursday night, an official said.
The fire engulfed the residential house of Jahangeer Ahmed Pala late in the evening and firefighters are trying to douse it off, he said.
Fire and Emergency (F&ES) officials said, they received input about the fire incident from D.K. Marg of Kulgam at 09:20 PM.
“The fire was massive and F&ES D.H.Pora had to provide backup because no water source was available in the vicinity,” he said.
“A two-storey Pucca residential house with a tin roof is involved in the fire and the operation is still ongoing,” he said.
