Jammu, Oct 04:Administrative Secretary Health and Medical Education Department visited the De-Addiction Centre at Govt. Psychiatric Disease Hospital Jammu on Tuesday.
A detail round was held of the existing infrastructure facilities and functioning of the De- Addiction Centre. Administrative Secretary was apprised of the deficiencies in the centre at present for which he ensured full financial and logistical support. Demand for proper security in and around the De-Addiction centre was reiterated and suggestions were received well by the administrative secretary.
He instructed officials to ensure smooth functioning of De-addiction and OST services in the Hospital and further directed to HOD Psychiatric Hospital and MS Psychiatric Hospital that a concrete action plan for up gradation of infrastructure facilities for creation of regional level Rehabilitation Centre under Nasha Mukth Abhiyan should be submitted at the earliest to Administrative Department. Stress was laid on implementation of the ongoing Nasha Mukth Abhiyan in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir more vigorously.
