HM operative arrested with arms in Poonch

Srinagar, July 30: Security forces arrested Mohd Khalil Lone, a Hizbul Mujahideen associate, in Mangnar village, Poonch district. Lone, identified as a logistic provider and Overground Worker for the banned terrorist organization, was apprehended in a joint operation by 39 RR/6 Sector RR and District Police Poonch.
Authorities recovered a pistol and a mobile phone with a Pakistani SIM card from his possession. The arrest follows a search operation triggered by reports of armed suspects in Salampura village.
Meanwhile, search operations were conducted by security forces after two armed suspects, dressed in black, were seen moving in Salampura village near Dehra Ki Gali late Monday night, they said.
J&K Police was assisted by the Rashtriya Rifles and CRPF launched a joint operation immediately after getting the information.
