Srinagar, Nov 25: The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Saturday announced winter vacations for the school across Kashmir in a phase-wise manner.
As per the official order for Classes upto 8th standard, the vacations will begin from November 28, 2023 to February 29, 2024. However from the 9th to 12th standard the vacations will be observed from December 11, 2023 to February 29, 2024.
“The teaching staff shall report back to their respective schools on 21 February, 2024 so that they remain available for making arrangements regarding preparation of ensuing examinations,” order said.
Furthermore, all teachers shall remain available on demand for any online guidance of students during vacation period.
“Any default on part of the Head of the Schools/Teaching staff in observance of the above schedule shall attract strict action under rules,” order said.
