2 injured in Drass road accident

Drass, Dec 09: A truck plunged into a deep gorge near Shimsha Kharbu in SubDivision Drass, resulting in injuries to the driver, and the conductor.
The mishap occurred on Saturday, prompting an immediate and extensive rescue operation led by the Police, locals, and other rescue teams.
SHO P/S Drass James Decham confirmed the incident, stating that both injured individuals were swiftly transported to DH Kargil for medical treatment.
The injured have been identified as Amir War and Arshid War residents of Thune Kangan, are currently under care as authorities commence an investigation into the circumstances leading to the tragic accident.
Injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
