Two thieves arrested in Budgam, stolen property recovered: Police

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday that it has solved theft case by arresting two thieves in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district and recovered stolen property from their possession.

 

 

A police spokesman said that an investigation was set into motion after a case was registered under case FIR number 88/2022 under relevant sections of law at Police Station Chadoora on 17-05-2022. As informed, the incident took place at Malik Bagh Kralpora in which some thieves entered into premises of 02 factories titled Bhat Fabrication & Rice Puff Factory and stole away some Machinery equipments.

 

 

” Accordingly, investigating team was constituted, after strenuous efforts and working on some leads, one person namely Bilal Ahmad Dar @Bilal khar son of Abdul Ahad Dar R/O Bilal coloney Qamerwari A/P Shaltang Srinagar was arrested, on his disclosure one more accused person namely Imtiyaz Ahmad Khandy S/O Ghulam Mohammad khandy R/O Bilal Coloney Qamerwari was arrested in above mentioned FIR”, he said.

 

 

 The spokesman said that on their disclosure, so far following stolen items have been recovered from their possession:

01 Gas cylinder,

01 Stabilizer*,

01 cutter

04 boxes of Welding electric rods

and some copper wire

Futher investigation into the matter is going on.More arrests and recoveries are expected.
