Pulwama, May 09: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr Basharat Qayoom on Tuesday distributed 26 computers along with printers among 18 Nayabats and 8 Tehsils for swift online digitization of land records in the district here.
On the occasion, the DC said that this way the computerization of land records including digitization of jamabandies, authentication of jamabandies, quality check of scanned data, and implementation of online services among others can easily be processed.
This will also help to expedite the digitization process and clear the pendency of remaining jamabandies in the district and quality checks of all remaining jamabandies will be available in a time-bound manner, he said, adding that this will also help in ensuring effective, efficient and prompt implementation of Public Services Guarantee Act to ensure hassle-free public services delivery system in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Fayaz Ahmed Banday; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Aijaz Ahmed Shah and other concerned were present on the occasion.
