Srinagar, Mar 20: Srinagar District Police organized a cultural event on Monday in which various artists, students of the University of Kashmir, and citizens of Srinagar participated. The event was held with the aim of providing a platform to local artists to showcase their talent.
The Chief Guest at the event was SP city Hazratbal Mashkoor Ahmad Zargar JKPS, while other senior officers were also present. The performances of the artists received an overwhelming response from the audience, and the participants were felicitated with suitable rewards.
The event was also attended by Prof.Neelofer Khan, Dr.Nissar Ahmad Mir, Prof Aneesa Deen, and Dr Saleema Jan, who praised the efforts of the J&K police in promoting talent in the UT. They highlighted the importance of such events in showcasing the cultural diversity of the region.
SP Hazratbal Mashkoor Ahmad-JKPS advised the participants that winning is not the only thing but participating in an event is also a big achievement. He emphasized that such events provide a platform for the youth to showcase their talents and wished them good luck for their future endeavors.
