Baramulla, May 26: Four persons have been booked under stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) for their alleged anti national activities in  Baramulla district, police said.
A police official told Rising Kashmir that these four individuals had been previously involved in multiple cases, yet continued their anti-national activities without remorse.
“Their persistent engagement in such activities led to their booking under the stringent Public Safety Act,” he said.
The accused have been detained and are now being held at the Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jail in Jammu.
Police identified the four persons as Javaid Hussain Yatoo of GoshbughPattan, Jan Nisar KhaliqGanai of ChanderhamaPattan, Abid Parvaiz Hajam of AndergamPattan, and Nisar Ahmad Wani of SultanporaPattan.
“Acting on their involvement in various cases, the Baramulla Police obtained formal detention orders from the competent authority and swiftly apprehended the individuals,” the police official added.
“All have been transferred to the Central Jail Kot-Balwal in Jammu.”
Baramulla police said that investigations into the matter are ongoing, and the Police will continue to work diligently to uncover any further details related to the individuals’ involvement in anti-national activities.
The police authorities urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that may pose a threat to national security.
