Police felicitates 3 local youth for saving precious lives from drowning in Baramulla

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday felicitated three local youths with token of appreciation, momento and cash reward for showing act of bravery while saving 2 precious lives from drowning in river jehlum at Suspension Bridge Dewanbagh area of Baramulla district.

                                                                                                                                                                                                           A Police Spokesperson said that Today on 09/03/2023, SSP Baramulla Sh Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS felicilitated 3 local youths of Town Baramulla namely Saqib Ahmad Gojri S/O Ghulam Ahmad Gojri R/O Qazi Hamam Old Town Baramulla, Wamiq Parveiz Kullu S/O Parvaiz Ahmad Kullu R/O Ganie Hamam Baramulla and Sahil Ahmad War S/O Late Wali Moahmmad War R/O Gulnaar Park Baramulla for showing act of bravery while saving 2 precious lives from drowning in river jehlum at Suspension Bridge Dewanbagh Baramulla and Cement Bridge Baramulla in two different incidents. The youths were facilitated with token of appreciation, momento and cash reward.

                                                                                                                                                                                            “While interacting with the youth SSP Baramulla appreciated them for the act of bravery to saving precious lives in time. He further said such act will definitely inspires others to do more good for the society”, he said.

                                                                                                  At the conclusion SSP Baramulla told that nation needs more brave hearts like these youth.The felicitation ceremony was also attended by *Addl SP Shri RK Parihar, DSP DAR Shri Peerzada Aijaz and SHO Baramulla DSP Prob Naveed.
