A 25 year old lady was killed while another person received injuries after a vehicle they were traveling was hit by a shooting stone at Panimatha Zojila Pass area on Srinagar-Leh Highway on Sunday.
An official told Rising Kashmir that a heavy stone rolled down from a hill at Pani Matha Zojila and hit an Xylo vehicle bearing registration Number LA01-2517 resulting the critical Injuries of one lady including another person boarding in the vehicle.
She has been taken to PHC Sonamarg for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries while injured person have been referred to Srinagar hospital for further treatment.
Deceased lady has been identified as Batool D/o Syed Asadullah R/o Kargil.
