Intensive market checking held at D H Pora Kulgam

Kulgam, March 24: Sub District Magistrate (SDM) Noorabad Bashir ul Hassan, at the direction of Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, led a joint team that carried out intensive market checking in D H Pora on Friday.
He was accompanied by SDPO, D H Pora Dr Showkat Ahmed, BMO, TSO and other officers. During the market checking, an amount of Rs 2,600 fine was recovered from violators, while one shop was also sealed.
The SDM while interacting with customers urged them to be aware of their rights. He said that to curb overpricing and other violations, market checking drives will continue in the subdivision.
