Srinagar, June 10: J&K BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul and Minister of State & Chairperson J&K Waqf Board Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Saturday met the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) as a part of ‘Sampark Se Samarthan’ Programme.
“All the office bearers of KCCI participated in the programme. A discussion on several transformative initiatives and the remarkable work done by Modi govt in the last nine years was discussed,” Dr Andrabi said in a statement issued here.
KCCI expressed satisfaction with the initiatives of the Modi government for creating a business-friendly environment in J&K which had a tough time due to the uncertain law and order situations for more than three decades, the statement said, adding, “KCCI president praised the Modi government for special incentives to strengthen local businesses here.”
Ashok Koul discussed the Prime Minister’s vision for the promotion of the business of J&K through Tourism & Industrial Development. Dr Andrabi also sketched BJP’s roadmap for the economic development of J&K in the future. Ex-MLC Surender Ambardar was also present.
