Ganderbal, Aug 03: Ganderbal District Squash championship organized by Ganderbal District Squash Rackets Association in collaboration with J&K Squash Rackets Association under My Youth My Pride Initiative by J&K Sports Council concluded on Thursday at Squash Complex, Gindun Stadium.
In two days event over 62 players from different Schools participated in Under Under 17 Boys & Girls, Under 19 Boys & Girls, and Senior Men & Women categories.
Dr.Azhar Abbas presided concluding function as Chief Guest while Umer Akbar were present as Guest of Honour.
Cheif Guest for Ganderbal District Squash championship congratulate Ganderbak District Squash association for taking the step for the promotion of Squash by organizing District Level competitions which will definetly boost morale of the students in the interst of the sport.
Chief Guest also expressed gratitude to J&K Sports Council for provide modern class infrastructure for organizing of championship.
Umer Akbar adivised players to stay continue with sport of Squash as i believe Squash is wonderful Sport.
Later, the Chief Guest Dr. Azhar Abbas and Guest of Honour Umer Akbar distributed medals, Trophies among the winner and runner-up and Third place participants.
The championship was sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
