3 houses gutted in B’pora fire incident

Bandipora, May 29: A devastating fire broke out in Kaloosa area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday afternoon resulting in extensive damage to three residential properties.
Eyewitnesses told Rising Kashmir that the fire originated in one of the homes in Ganie Mohalla of Kaloosa area and quickly spread to nearby houses.
An official said that local fire and emergency services, alongside the J&K police and army, swiftly responded and worked tirelessly to extinguish the flames; however, despite their valiant efforts, the three houses suffered extensive damage.
He said that the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, and investigations are underway to determine the origin of the incident.
He further said that fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported, bringing relief amidst the devastation.
