Devender Singh Pal, Commandant (CO) 46th BN CRPF, said that in anticipation of Independence Day, the CRPF organised the “Har Ghar Tiranga” rally to celebrate the nation’s freedom.
“The rally is a celebration for the general public. While those in the security forces are already aware of the importance of Independence Day, the event is intended to uplift our spirits and raise awareness about the significance of our tricolour,” he said.
Singh further said that India gained its freedom on August 15, 1947, after a long struggle, and it is vital to pass on the value and importance of the flag and Independence to the next generation.
“The government’s initiative to organise Tiranga rallies is commendable, and the 46th Battalion has successfully implemented this on the ground,” the CO said.
He expressed gratitude for the support provided by the local GHSS Vesu, its staff, and the students. “If such awareness programs continue, they will foster a strong sense of national pride in our country,” he added.
The Commandant also voiced his confidence that the next generation will carry forward the spirit of patriotism and respect for the nation.
