Srinagar, May 29: Northern Railway has announced the temporary augmentation of two major trains with additional coaches to manage the increased passenger rush during the summer holiday season.

Officials said one additional Third AC coach will be attached to the Jammu Tawi–New Delhi Rajdhani Express from June 6 to June 12.

Similarly, one extra Sleeper Class coach will be added to the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra–New Delhi Express from June 6 to June 13.

The railway authorities said the decision was taken to enhance passenger convenience and accommodate the seasonal surge in travel demand between Jammu and New Delhi during the peak summer vacation period.

Officials added that the additional coaches are expected to improve seat availability and provide relief to passengers travelling on these busy routes.
