Samba, Oct 05: Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari along with senior leadership Thursday participated in Antim Ardas organised at Vijaypur in Samba district on the tenth day of Shri Balwant Singh, father of Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh.
Bukhari was accompanied by Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir and other leaders of Apni Party to Vijaypur where they participated in the prayers which were organised at the Gurdwara for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Shri Balwant Singh Ji.
Bukhari and Mir expressed their sympathies on behalf of all the party leaders in Jammu and Kashmir with the family members of S. Manjit Singh and they prayed for the courage of the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
To pay their homage to the departed soul, hundreds of people from different segments of society including politicians, PRIs, members of civil society, police officers, and government officials participated in the Antim Ardas, the party said in a statement.
Meanwhile, S. Manjit Singh expressed his gratitude to all Apni Party leaders, all the people/politicians cutting across party lines/officials, and all others who visited his residence and shared their grief and extended sympathy to the bereaved family members.
