SMVDU’s Hindi cell recognises excellence in literary competitions

Jammu, Oct 06: The Hindi Cell (Hindi Prakoshth) at SMVDU organised Hindi Pakhwada 2023, a vibrant event featuring a range of competitions including summarization, essay writing, memoir writing, poetry writing, and quiz. Enthusiastic participation was witnessed by both university students and children within the SMVDU community.
Milind Shukla, Student Secretary of Hindi Cell, spearheaded the organisation of Hindi Pakhwada, with coordination support from Pooja Kharra, Suhani Sharma, and Dheeraj Kumar. The winners of the competitions were felicitated by Vice Chancellor & Patron, Hindi Cell, Prof. (Dr.) Pragati Kumar.
In the Junior Category, Chetna Wadhawan, Ipshita Verma, Aarohini Bhardwaj, Rudransh Wadhawan, and Anshila Bhardwaj were recognised. In the Senior Category, Lavkush, Sonu Kumar, Divyanshi Singh, Madhukar Kumar, Abhimanyu Raj Jha, Subhash Chandra Chaurasiya, Bhumi Puri, Abhishek, and Sakshi were acknowledged for their achievements.
During the event, Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) Pragati Kumar inspired the students and extended his best wishes. Milind Shukla provided detailed insights into the activities of the Hindi Cell and Hindi Pakhwada Events. Nodal Officer of Hindi Cell, Dr Amitabh Vikram Dwivedi, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor and presented his self-written book “Chinar Ka Sukha Patta” as a token of appreciation for his presence at the programme.
