Srinagar, Oct 21: With a view to facilitate customers, J&K Bank has entered into a tie-up with Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. – a wholly-owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries Inc. – for financing the Company’s multi-functionality smart tractor called Sportsman Touring 570 EPS Tractor. By virtue of the agreement Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. would offer special discounts to the customers availing credit facility from J&K Bank for purchasing the product.

Deputy General Manager Nishikant Sharma signed the MOU on behalf of the Bank, while as, Lalit Mohan Sharma (India Country Manager) put in his signatures for Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. in presence of Bank’s General Manager Ashutosh Sareen and senior officers of both the organisations.

Speaking on the occasion, GM Ashutosh Sareen said, “Through this tie-up, we are happy to offer easy, affordable and attractive financing solutions to encourage the purchase of these smart tractors, considered valuable for tourism, agriculture and other industries especially in J&K and Ladakh.”
“I believe, with this partnership in place, the Bank will also facilitate self-employment opportunities for the youth here”, he added.

While keeping in view the potential of tourism and agriculture sectors in the hilly UTs of J&K and Ladakh, DGM Nishikant Sharma expressed hope that the partnership will be beneficial for both the organisations while bringing cheer on the faces of the customers belonging to different walks of life.

Talking about the collaboration, Lalit Mohan Sharma said, “The collaboration is a significant step to boost the purchase experience for Polaris customers in the region. With this MOU, customers will have better access to finance options, enabling them to conveniently acquire their desired Polaris vehicle. As leaders in the sector, we have always focused on enhancing customer experience and satisfaction.”

Notably, the multi-functionality vehicle ‘Sportsman Touring’ allows for diverse operations, from utility tasks like snow clearing and off-road travels to recreational activities and tourist attractions. Besides, it has also proven to be a valuable tool in the apple and horticulture industry segments, particularly in regions like Kashmir and other hilly areas that feature challenging terrains and dense orchards.
