Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday said elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held at the “right time” keeping in view the security situation there.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar said this while speaking at a press conference to announce the schedule for assembly elections in five states.
On being asked about the election in Jammu & Kashmir, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said, “The decision to be taken at the right time as per the security situation and other simultaneous elections in the state.”
