The event began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Saleem Dar, followed by a poignant rendition of a revered poem about Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by Muhammad Ibrahim. Organizational duties were flawlessly executed by Hujjat al-Islam Syed Muhammad Hussain Safavi.
Hujjat al-Islam Agha Syed Mujtaba Abbas Al-Mousavi Al-Safavi opened the event, emphasizing the profound significance of the blessed month. He called for societal responsibilities to prevent crimes and establish a moral code.
Prominent speakers included Grand Mufti Mufti Nasser al-Islam, President of Unity of Muslims Hujjat al-Islam and Muslims Masroor Abbas Ansari, Representative Mir Waiz Kashmir Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, Hujjat al-Islam Dr. Madsar Hussain Rizvi, Representative of Islamic Caravan Gulzar Ahmad Shahidi, and Imam of Friday Prayer Molvi Riaz Ahmed Bukhari. Representatives from the Sharia Shian Association’s Tabligh Department and various other scholars and dignitaries were also present.
The event concluded with a compelling speech by the president of the Anjuman Sharia Shia, Hujjat al-Islam and Muslims Agha Syed Hassan Al-Mousavi Al-Safavi. He highlighted the virtues, blessings, and importance of the sacred month, urging the Muslim community to embark on a spiritual purification journey, reform their social affairs, and fully embrace the greatness of Ramadan. Additionally, he stressed the importance of unity, discouraged social crimes and injustices, and called for prayers for the oppressed Muslim Palestinians.
