Srinagar, Feb 23: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Baramulla has directed all Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) to organise engaging activities for the reopening of schools to ensure students have a positive and enjoyable first day back.
As schools are scheduled to reopen on March 01, it is crucial to boost the morale of students on their first day back, CEO Balber Singh told Rising Kashmir.
“It is important to mark the occasion with enthusiasm, allowing students to share their holiday experiences. This will provide them with an opportunity to express themselves and showcase their creativity,” he said.
Singh said the ZEOs have been instructed to choose a single school within their respective zones for a grand event to be organised on the school’s reopening day. “The ZEOs will actively participate in all the events and activities arranged at the selected school. The teachers from other schools will conduct similar activities in various government schools across the Baramulla district,” he said.
The schools should create a festive atmosphere and be decorated to warmly welcome the students, he added.
