Srinagar, July 09: In a constructive engagement aimed at enhancing youth participation and community development, Deputy Director of ‘My Bharat Srinagar’, Pradeep Kumar, along with prominent youth leaders Nazakat Ahmad, Inam Hussain (Social Activist and Chairman of Khelo Kashmir), and Choudhary, met with Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Akshay Labroo to deliberate on forthcoming initiatives under the My Bharat programme.A statement issued here said that the discussion centred on key youth-focused campaigns, most notably the upcoming ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative — a tree plantation drive dedicated to mothers, designed to promote environmental sustainability and emotional connection to nature. Other collaborative programmes aimed at youth empowerment and civic engagement in the region were also discussed. DC Srinagar commended the delegation’s efforts and assured the administration’s full support for the successful execution of these initiatives. He emphasised the importance of active youth participation in nation-building and pledged to facilitate a conducive environment for such programmes. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening youth-led initiatives across the district, aligning with the broader vision of the My Bharat mission.
