J&K Sr Men’s Softball team selected

Jammu, Dec 18: Jammu and Kashmir Senior Men’s Softball team for 14th Federation Cup Senior Softball Championship has been selected after Screening by the Screening Commitee of Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council headed by Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu, Baljinder Pal Singh and other members of Screening Commitee at New Indoor Sports Complex, M A Stadium, here. 
 
The Association had started 10 days Coaching Camp from December 12, 2023 which will conclude on December 21 at Football Ground, Government Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu. 
 
Harvinder Singh (Diploma holder in Softball, NIS, Centre Bangluru and topper of the batch 2006 is Coach of the team, who will provide guidance of modern skill development to the team members.
 
The team was screened in presence of Waseem Raja Khan, General Secretary, J&K Softball Association and Padam Dev Singh, Joint Secretary of the Association.
 
“We believe that every individual athlete is upto the mark and will give their best in the National level event. The 14th Federation Cup Senior Softball Championship is scheduled to be held at Aurangabad, Maharashtra from February 25 to 27,” said Waseem Raja, General Secretary of the Association.
 
THE TEAM: Ajay Singh, Ayush Singh, Mohammad Iqbal Beigh, Pardeep Singh, Sagar Chib, Anmol Singh, Vikram Singh Chib, Ghar Singh, Dev Aryan Singh, Ansh Goswami, Sanjay Kumar, Sajad Iqbal Reshi, Mohammad Rasib Bhat, Nayeem Hussain, Tahir Ali, Jaskaran Singh.
 
Harvinder Singh and Padam Dev Singh will accompany the team as Coaches while as Sheikh Jahangir will be the Manager.
 
The 14th Federation Cup Senior Softball Championship is being organized by Maharashtra Softball Association under the aegis of Softball Association of India.The J&K UT team is participating in the championship under the banner of J&K Softball Association and supported by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council.
