Ganderbal, March 15: The Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee, in collaboration with the District Administration Ganderbal, Saturday conducted a Hajj orientation and training programme on Manasik-e-Hajj (Hajj rituals) for selected pilgrims from the district. The event was held at the Markazi Hanfia Jamia Masjid Sharief in Beehama, Ganderbal and aimed to equip pilgrims with essential knowledge and preparations for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage.

Molvi Mohammad Jamal, a Hajj trainer from the Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee, addressed the gathering, stating, “This is the second phase of our training programme. One of the attendees, Ghulam Hassan Wani, a pilgrim from Ganderbal, praised the initiative, saying, “This program is incredibly beneficial for us. Without such guidance, our Hajj journey would feel incomplete. Here, we receive detailed instructions on everything, from airport procedures to performing the sacred rituals of Hajj.”
The training programme covered a wide range of topics, including the significance of Hajj, step-by-step guidance on performing rituals, health and safety measures, and travel-related formalities. The initiative reflects the commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee and the district administration Ganderbal to ensure a seamless and spiritually enriching experience for the pilgrims.
