Srinagar, Mar 13: To empower the unemployed youth & women, KVK Srinagar concludes a twelve (12) days Skill Development Training certificate course on “Entrepreneurship in Bakery & Bread Craft Product “at its main campus Nadurgund Peer Bagh Srinagar.
The Skill course was organised by the Kendra in collaboration with 41 Bn BSF Gogo-land Srinagar for the fifty unemployed youth including School dropouts & women from peri urban areas of Srinagar w.e.f 27th February to 11th March, 2025. The programme is aimed to equip the participating trainees with skills for formulation of diverse market driven bakery products devoid of any artificial flavour, colour and refined oils in accordance to food safety standards. The closing session was chaired by .R S.Mathi 2 IC 41 Bn and graced by Head KVK Dr.SA.Simnani , Dy CO .Pawan Sharma and attended by Dr.Gazanfer, Dr Ishtiyaq, Dr Rayees Wani. Trainees were imparted hands-on training & techniques on preparation of home fresh delicacies viz Walnut cake & topping, plain cake and flavoured cake (marble cake) in addition to cookies and bread Craft Dr. Saima Paul and Dr Aasima Rafiq acted as resource persons as well as coordinators of the training course.
