Srinagar, Mar 10: Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar has announced that in connection with the Youm-e-Wisal of Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Khadijah Al Kubra (RA), Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq will address the faithful at Aastan e Aaliya Dastgeer Sahib Khanyar on Tuesday, 10th of Ramadhan, from 3:30 pm till Asr prayer.
The Anjuman in a statement issued here has requested the people to participate in the gathering.
Meanwhile, the Auqaf has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise away of its former General Secretary, Ghulam Nabi Farooqi. The Anjuman lauded his invaluable contributions and dedicated services to Jama Masjid and the community, remembering him as a sincere and committed figure who served with devotion and integrity.
Anjuman President, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed his heartfelt condolences and visited the family of the deceased to offer sympathies. During his visit, Mirwaiz extended condolences to the sons-in-law of the late Farooqi, Dr Rafi Jan and Abdul Rafa Fazili. He was accompanied by General Secretary Altaf Ahmed Shah and other members of the Auqaf.
Mirwaiz prayed for the highest place in Jannah for the departed soul.
