Jammu, Dec 28: Ritika Trehan, Chief Spokesperson of BJP Mahila Morcha J&K UT, on Monday led the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in Ward-20, Bahu constituency. Addressing the gathering, she highlighted the Yatra’s role in disseminating information about various government schemes and emphasized the widespread reach of Modi’s guaranteed programs in every area through the Yatra.
She said that Modi’s guarantee vehicle is running in every area through the Yatra. Under the Yatra, benefits of various government schemes are also being given to the beneficiaries, she said.
Ritika said the objective of the Yatra is to take forward the resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047, adding that India is currently the fifth-largest economy in the world and expressed confidence that it will soon become the third-largest economy in the world. She described the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam as a historic step of the Modi government and said the government is making every effort for the development of the country and create employment for the youth.
On this occasion, people were made aware of the public welfare schemes. Ritika highlighted the milestones achieved in 100% saturation of government flagship schemes. She said Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is the largest-ever outreach initiative of the Government of India.
She said the Yatra marks a significant step in the achievement of this objective through outreach, information dissemination, and empowering citizens to become active stakeholders in the country’s development.
The BJP leader urged people left out of any benefits of development schemes to enroll freshly and get sanction letters of benefits from schemes like PM Ujjawala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Card, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Jaal Jeevan Mission, etc. She emphasized that the primary objective of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to ensure that every citizen avails the benefits of various government flagship schemes for their welfare.
Talking about the Modi government’s policies, Ritika said, “The 9 years of the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have become a shining example of good governance, development and prosperity in the country. The pro-people policies of Modi Government have won the hearts of every countrymen, which has been reiterated now by the thumping victory of the BJP in 3 assembly elections.”
