Srinagar, Feb 22: The School of Computer Science and Engineering (SoCSE) at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) organised a Five-Day Faculty Development Programme on Sentiment Analysis Using Large Language Models and Medical Image Applications Using Learning Models.
The session was held under the prestigious Research Project RP-126 – High-End Computing AI and Deep Learning Lab. The FDP provided an enriching platform for faculty members, technical staff, research scholars, and students from SMVDU and other institutions across the state and beyond. The sessions focused on Sentiment Analysis and Medical Image Applications Using Deep Learning and Machine Learning, facilitating discussions on theoretical and practical problem-solving approaches in these fields. The event aimed to enhance skills, foster collaboration, and encourage the exchange of innovative ideas among researchers and industry professionals. Dr. Baijnath Kaushik, Principal Investigator of Project RP-126, served as the event coordinator.
The FDP featured distinguished resource persons, including Prof. Ashish Ghosh (Director, IIIT Bhubaneswar), Prof. Susmita Ghosh (Jadavpur University), Prof. K.K. Biswas (IIT Delhi, Prof. Vinod Sharma (University of Jammu), Dr. Vinit Jakhetiya (Associate Professor, CSE, IIT Jammu)
