Srinagar, Feb 17: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir president Sat Sharma has nominated district presidents for ten districts of Kashmir.
According to a statement issued here, the nominations have been made in consultation with Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary, BJP & Prabhari J&K-UT, Ashok Kaul, General Secretary Organisation and Sunil Sharma, LoP and Kashmir Prabhari.
Adv Sheikh Salman has been nominated as District President for Srinagar, Ghulam Hassan Rather for Ganderbal, Hakeem Rahullah Ghazi for Budgam, Er Syed Showkat Gayoor Andrabi for Pulwama, Waseem Raja Parray for Shopian, Farooq Ahmad Rather for Kulgam, Rakesh Koul for Anantnag, Ghulam Hassan Dar for Baramulla, Rafeeq Shah for Kupwara and Mudasir Farooq Jaan for Bandipora.
Sat Sharma expressed hope that the new nominees will work wholeheartedly to strengthen the party in their respective districts.
