Udhampur, Dec 23: A quiz competition centered around the Ramayana was organized by the Sanskrit Department of Government College for Women (GCW), Udhampur, under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The event, held on the college campus, was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Nalini Pathania.
The quiz began with an enlightening address by Dr. Om Prakash, Head of the Sanskrit Department, who explained the significance of the Ramayana and its relevance in contemporary society. Four teams participated, answering a series of questions about the epic. Team ‘A’ emerged victorious after correctly answering all the questions.
At the conclusion of the event, participating students were honored for their efforts. Dr. Mohinder delivered the vote of thanks, encouraging students to actively engage in such programs. The event was attended by Dr. Mool Raj, Dr. Sushama Kumari, Dr. Sarvjeet Kour, Prof. Yash Kumar, Dr. Pankaj Sharma, and around 50 students of the college.
