Katra, Nov 18: SMVDU Katra hosted educational visit of students from Govt. Higher Sec. School, Mubarakmandi, Jammu under outreach activity program. Around 60 girl students along with their teachers participated in the visit.
The visit was organized to enhance knowledge/awareness among students about higher educational institutions. NSS Coordinator, Dr. Rajiv Kumar welcomed the school officials and students and gave a brief introduction of the University.
NSS volunteers of the University accompanied the school team during the visit. Students were motivated to join higher educational institutes after completing their class 12th. During the event the school team visited various university facilities like network centre, library, central workshop, auditorium etc. School authorities thanked the University for hosting the visit.
