These heart-wrenching events serve as a grim illustration of the immense hurdles confronting the people of Kashmir, highlighting the pressing need for lasting peace and tranquillity in the region.
The audacity exhibited by these attacks, specifically intended to disrupt the hard-won peace and calm painstakingly established in the picturesque Kashmir Valley, underscores the sheer desperation of the perpetrators behind these heinous acts. Their willingness to resort to violence reflects a deeply disturbing mind-set. What becomes unmistakably clear is Pakistan’s brazen support for these terrorists, demonstrating a shocking disregard for the lives and well-being of the Kashmiri people, who have long yearned for stability and security in their region.
However, amid this prevailing darkness, there emerges a glimmer of hope. The resilient spirit of the people of Kashmir, coupled with the unwavering determination of the present administration, has forged a powerful unity against the nefarious forces of terror. Despite the challenges they face, the Kashmiri populace remains steadfast, refusing to succumb to fear and intimidation. Their courage and unity serve as a beacon, illuminating the path towards a future where peace can ultimately prevail in the face of adversity.
Post 5 August 2019 when Article 370 was abrogated by the Central Government, the region of Kashmir has experienced a notable decrease in terrorist activities, instilling a sense of hope among the people that lasting peace is within the reach. This positive shift is largely credited to the collective efforts and determination of the current LG administration, led by Manoj Sinha Lieutenant Governor of J&K UT which has displayed an unwavering commitment to restoring normalcy and harmony in the area. Their dedicated approach leaves no stone unturned in the pursuit of bringing about a sustained period of peace to the region.
However, amidst these promising developments, there have been sporadic incidents of violence. These events, often portrayed as desperate attempts by terrorists, can be seen as a testament to their sheer frustration. In the face of a region that yearns for tranquillity, these attacks serve as a stark reminder of the challenges that persist. Yet, they also underline the resilience of the local population and the obstacles that need to be overcome on the path to enduring peace. Despite these setbacks, the ongoing efforts of the administration and the collective hope of the people continue to drive the aspiration for a peaceful and stable Kashmir.
In the face of these recent distressing acts of terrorism and violence, a meticulously planned and highly coordinated effort becomes essential. The Jammu & Kashmir Police, in collaboration with other security agencies, must embark on a comprehensive operation of unprecedented scale and precision. This operation should not merely target the visible symptoms of terrorism but rather delve deep into the intricate layers of the terror ecosystem. It requires a thorough understanding of the web of individuals, organizations, funding sources, and ideological foundations that sustain this menace.
The key objective of this operation lies in the systematic dismantling of the infrastructure that fuels terrorism in the Kashmir Valley. This involves not only apprehending the terrorists directly involved in violent acts but also disrupting the supply chains of weapons, cutting off funding sources, and dismantling the networks responsible for recruitment and indoctrination, which have already been eradicated to roots.
