PDP’s Arif Laigroo files nomination for Habba Kadal constituency

Srinagar, Sep 05: Arif Laigroo, a youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday filed his nomination for the upcoming assembly elections from the Habba Kadal constituency.
Laigroo said he is focused on addressing key challenges in the constituency, particularly the empowerment of youth and combating drug addiction.
Speaking after filing his nomination, the PDP leader said he is committed to uplifting the younger generation. “The youth of Habba Kadal are the backbone of our future. I am committed to working tirelessly for their empowerment through employment opportunities, skill development programs, and providing them with a platform to express their potential,” he said.
He also highlighted his concern about the growing issue of drug addiction among the youth. “Drug addiction is a serious problem affecting our communities, and I will ensure that we introduce effective programs to combat this menace. Rehabilitation centers, counseling, and awareness campaigns will be at the forefront of my agenda”” he added.
