PDP’s Ghulam Ahmed , AIP’s Nazir Ahmad file nominations for Beerwah constituency

Budgam, Sep 04: PDP candidate, Haji Ghulam Ahmed Khan, and AIP candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan, on Wednesday officially submitted their nomination papers to contest in the upcoming Assembly elections for the Beerwah constituency
Additionally, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi, the PDP candidate for the Budgam constituency, has also filed his nomination papers for the Budgam constituency.
After the nomination process has started for the 2nd phase of the Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, 26 candidates from five assembly constituencies of the Budgam district have submitted their nomination papers into five assembly constituencies till this date.
In Beerwah Assembly constituency, six candidates have submitted their nomination papers till this date. In Budgam constituency Four candidates have filed their nomination papers; two candidates have submitted their nomination papers from Chadoora constituency; six candidates have submitted their nomination papers from Charar-i-Sharief constituency; and eight candidates have submitted their nominations from Khansahib constituency till this date.
Following the submission of his nomination papers, Haji Ghulam Ahmed Khan, told the reporters that he has submitted his nomination papers as a PDP candidate for the Beerwah constituency.
“I am committed to working for the welfare of the Beerwah constituency. My long-standing involvement in politics has given me insight into the challenges faced by the people of Beerwah constituency. I want to address the unresolved issues affecting the general public in our assembly constituency,” Khan said.
