Jaunpur (UP), Mar 01: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Friday said the demand for “400 plus for Modi” isn’t confined to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers but echoes among the common citizens of India.
Speaking at a meeting with party workers in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, Dr Singh emphasized the widespread support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for a third term.
Dr Jitendra, who holds crucial portfolios including Science & Technology, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy, and Space, highlighted PM Modi’s transformative leadership, citing his significant contributions to various sectors. He praised PM Modi’s bold decisions, which have propelled India’s economy to new heights and enhanced its global stature.
“Under PM Modi’s leadership, India has witnessed remarkable economic growth, ascending from the 10th to the 5th largest economy in less than a decade,” he said.
The Union Minister expressed confidence that India will soon claim the 4th position and eventually emerge as the world’s 3rd largest economy during PM Modi’s third term, with a vision to become the top economy by 2047.
He also highlighted India’s achievements in areas like startups, space research, and innovation, attributing much of the progress to PM Modi’s initiatives such as ‘Startup India, Stand Up India’ and the opening up of the space sector. He emphasized the significant role played by youth entrepreneurship in job creation and economic growth.
“A recruitment drive for 10 lakh Central government jobs was fulfilled by the Modi Government under the Rozgar Mela. The youth are also being given an opportunity to serve in the Armed Forces under the Agnipath scheme. The focus has not been just to create employment but also to build entrepreneurship, transforming the youth from job seekers to job creators,” he said.
Dr Jitendra underscored the government’s commitment to inclusive development and good governance, citing various welfare schemes aimed at empowering marginalized sections of society. He emphasized the need to effectively communicate the government’s achievements to the masses, particularly youth and women, to instill confidence in PM Modi’s leadership and India’s promising future under his stewardship.
