Jammu, Mar 01: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Jammu & Kashmir has pulled up its socks to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally on March 07 in Kashmir the “biggest-ever” successful one in the region’s history, both in terms of turnout and outreach to the maximum number of people, especially beneficiaries of centrally sponsored schemes.
The Kashmir unit of the BJP will convene a crucial meeting on Saturday, March 02, to discuss arrangements for the PM’s rally.
According to sources within the party, the entire BJP unit of the J&K UT has been directed to ensure that PM Modi’s rally in Kashmir surpasses all previous rallies held by him in the last 10 years.
“Tomorrow, a meeting of the Kashmir unit of the BJP will be held in Kashmir, chaired by Sunil Sharma,” former MLC of BJP, Sofi Yousuf, informed Rising Kashmir.
Sunil Sharma, who serves as the General Secretary of the J&K BJP unit and is also the in-charge of the party’s Kashmir unit, will preside over the meeting.
“Various issues related to PM Modi’s rally will be discussed in the meeting tomorrow, including strategies for mobilizing and attracting people to the rally venue, as well as reaching out to beneficiaries of various centrally sponsored schemes,” Yousuf said.
During the meeting, responsibilities will be assigned to BJP leaders at the mandal and district levels in the Kashmir unit. Concerned leaders will be tasked with ensuring that PM Modi’s rally in Kashmir becomes the largest ever held in this Union Territory, party sources added.
