Bandipora, May 12: As part of the nationwide KCC campaign, the Department of Animal Husbandry in collaboration with the Lead District Bank Bandipora on Friday organized a weekly KCC camp at the meeting hall of BVO Office Bandipora. The camp was chaired by Dr. Gh Ahmad Lone, CAHO Bandipora.
The attendees included LDO/BVO Bandipora, Dr. Mohammad Ramzan, TO Bandipora, Delegates from Lead District Bank, Nodal Officer, Concerned Bank Managers, and Veterinary Assistant Surgeons with their staff.
During the camp, 40 KCC cases, 40 PMJJY, and 40 PMSBY cases were sponsored. CAHO Bandipora highlighted the importance of departmental schemes in improving the socio-economic status of farmers and encouraged their active participation.
LDO/BVO Bandipora provided detailed information about various departmental schemes, including the KCC scheme, and raised awareness about schemes under the Holistic Agricultural Development Programme.
Information about social security schemes including PMJJY and PMSBY was also shared. Farmers were given an opportunity to pose their concerns, which were gracefully answered.
One farmer named Tahir Ahmad shared his success story, inspiring other farmers to pursue Animal Husbandry as a profession. These KCC camps provide a valuable platform for farmers to learn about various schemes that can benefit them and improve their socio-economic status.
