The revenue authorities on Thursday conducted an anti-encroachment drive and retrieved 36 kanals and 11 marlas of Kaah Charai land at Khansahib tehsil in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
An official from Revenue Department told the Rising Kashmir that the drive was conducted under the supervision of Tehsildar Khansahib, Abid Gani Wani along with the other revenue officials.
“The drive was conducted at two places and 21 kanals of land was retrieved at one spot.” In another spot, 15 kanals and 11 marlas of land were retrieved,” the official said.
He said the land was evicted and all illegal encroachments were removed from the retrieved land.
