Srinagar, Jan 25: Ahead of Republic Day, security forces arrested three hybrid terrorists along with arms and ammunition in Boniyar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.A police spokesman said that a joint team of Dagger Division/Pir Panjal Brigade and Baramulla Police apprehended three hybrid terrorists’ red handed after infiltrating into social media groups and precise tracking.
“A major tragedy was averted by security forces on the eve of 26th January. Two Pistols, Two grenades, Two Magazines, 24 rounds, one silencer and other incriminating material have been recovered from their possession,” he said.
The spokesman said further investigation has been launched even as security forces remain committed to maintain peace in the region.
