27th Akhand Jyoti celebration begin with fervour, enthusiasm

Manwal, Oct 11: The 27th Akhand Jyoti celebration in Manwal commenced with immense fervor and enthusiasm, marking a significant event for the region. The festivities began with the ceremonial dispatch of the sacred flame (Jyoti) from Manwal, symbolizing unity and devotion among the community.
The auspicious moment of lighting the Akhand Jyoti was graced by Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Udhampur East, who performed the ceremony with great reverence. In his address, Pathania emphasized the importance of this celebration as a beacon of hope and togetherness for the community. He highlighted how such events not only strengthen our cultural roots but also foster a spirit of cooperation and harmony among diverse groups. Pathania urged everyone to embrace the values of love and respect that this festival embodies, reinforcing the idea that collective faith can lead to positive change in society. The sacred flame was subsequently sent to the revered Mansa Devi Mandir in Kakrai, continuing the tradition and spirit of the celebrations.
This festival carries a profound message of brotherhood and harmony, promoting unity among people from all walks of life. It plays a vital role in enhancing pilgrimage tourism at Devi Bani Mandir, Manwal, a significant religious destination that draws visitors from far and wide.
Prominent attendees included Hem Raj Gupta, President of the Akhand Jyoti Devi Bani Committee; Somnath, President of the Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Raj Kumar, President of the Vyapaar Mandal, Manwal, and Uttam Singh, Dheeraj, Vipan Sharma, Bhuri Ram, Om Gupta. The gathering attracted a large number of community members, all united in celebration.
The festivities not only highlighted the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the region but also fostered a profound sense of togetherness and spiritual fulfillment among attendees.
As we reflect on this joyous occasion, we are reminded of the enduring values of unity, faith, and community spirit that bind us together.
