Traffic halted on Jammu-Srinagar Highway due to mudslide, shooting stones in Ramban

Traffic movement on Jammu-Srinagar highway was suspended due to fresh mudslide and shooting stones at several locations in Ramban district, officials said on Monday.

 

In a tweet, J&K Traffic Police wrote, “Traffic halted on NH-44 due to mudslide at Shalgari, Sherbibi. SSG road and Mughal road are closed.”

 

SSP Ramban Mohita Sharma informed, “Shooting stones at Mehar and Rampari and mudslide at various locations. NH closed for traffic. Ask TCU before making travel plans.”

 

Meanwhile, a truck has rolled down at Digdole area of Ramban district on highway. “The driver of the truck was rescued in an injured condition and is being treated at hospital
