Mayor lays foundation stone for new Community Center in Zainakadal

Srinagar, May 29: Mayor Junaid Azim Mattu, accompanied by the Concerned Corporator, Commissioner of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), and CEO of Smart City, Athar Aamir Khan, marked a momentous occasion on Monday by laying the foundation stone of a much-anticipated community center in Zainakadal, Srinagar.
With a budget of 1.13 Crores, this eagerly awaited facility represents a significant milestone for the local population. The establishment of the community center is a longstanding demand of the residents of Shehr e Khas, and its realization showcases the government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of its citizens. Mayor Mattu, during the inaugural function, reaffirmed his dedication to the well-being of the people and emphasized the government’s determination to address the community’s needs and aspirations.
The event witnessed the presence of senior officials from SMC, who provided their support and expertise to the project. The community center is poised to offer a diverse range of amenities and services to the local population, serving as a vibrant hub for social, cultural, and recreational activities. The construction of this facility not only promises to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Shehr e Khas but also foster a sense of unity and solidarity within the community.
